It has been four days of intense struggle, but the last two were also filled with wonderful fellowship. It relieved me to know His goodness still abounds. That has been rather out of my limited sight lately. I constantly pray that He enables me to see beyond the thick black night with eyes of faith. Dear Alvin, happy 21st. =) I thank God for my brothers.
Am reluctant to leave the holidays, but tomorrow school starts for me, and once again I shall return to academic life with a fervour. =) Father, the journey goes on, speak to my heart, let it have ears and eyes, make it soft that I may see. I am in such deep need of You.
Happy birthday Singapore. It's another year, and amid the fireworks and unchanging displays I pray fervently for the church in our country, my nation and its leaders. I ask for more of those who chase after His heart within the leadership, I pray for those who are His in the leadership, that they will not lead our nation into a compromise with His laws. I ask that the church continue to grow here, not just in its numbers but in the depth of its faith, and faith comes through hearing the word, so let my nation and her peoples treasure up His word in their hearts. Let the church guard itself against complacency, that Singapore truly come alive, live, love and do so freely believing in His grace. Father let us be a nation that knows the expanse of your glory, depth of your love, the richness of Your promises. Let us know Jesus Christ so much more, let our joy be complete.
