chng is a gd lecturer, and since it's a type B module it's likely you won't need any of the technical stuff to move ahead in the course. i took language and gender.
a keen mind and bold heart is needed when the standards and truths He sets are assaulted. Most of the theories in language and gender will have postmodernist premises. Do speak up in class when there's opportunity. we must at least keep others questioning these premises, and prevent many more from parroting/touting such values like they were the most sensible thing in the world.
Above all, let's pray for our lecturer. =) What's beyond our means, He can do. hope on in gentle, bold faith.
