How I've been
It's been a gruelling two weeks.
Of the last seven nights i only slept four... or less if that's wrong...
It seems no matter how you plan ahead and start early there's always something to improve, so it never ends.
There is still one more week of this to go. Three deadlines in a week and a tutorial to present for. Work has never been heavier (i thought year 3 was bad!), and just 5 hours ago, with 3 deadlines for me to meet by 8am it was certainly stressful. By God's grace I've finished a stressful week. It was full of excitement, adrenalin (i always get that writing papers) hustle and bustle. There is so little time to ponder upon the One I wish to fill my thought with the most.
But one thought has remained with me still.
Do you know how much God loves you? That He's literally looked into your every need? He's even provided for you in case you didn't know how or what to pray. can you imagine, we are so weak that we can't even cry for help on our own, and He helps us do that? He gave you a spirit that intercedes for you... who groans for us in prayer beyond what words can express!
Esther Gao, your Father loves you. So much.
So look up, be encouraged and look eagerly to be filled by Him again this morning. It's a brand new day, and you start by resting in Him.
Father, thank you for my friends (thinking about them with you brings me joy). Thank you for my work (and your abundant grace at that!). Thank You for You. =)
